The Walloon Government has approved the development of the Wallonia Cyber Valley at the Galaxia park in Transinne, aiming to establish Wallonia as a European leader in cybersecurity.

Initiated by the Vice-President and Minister of Economy and Digital, Pierre-Yves Jeholet, the Wallonia Cyber Valley project has been validated. The ambition is to make Wallonia a European benchmark in cybersecurity by concentrating the necessary infrastructure, skills, research, innovation, and training at the Galaxia site in Transinne (municipality of Libin).
In response to the rise in cyber threats, this initiative aims to achieve several key objectives: better protect businesses, administrations, and citizens; bring together companies, researchers, trainers, and public authorities around a common project; and stimulate innovation, skills, and collaborations. The ultimate goal is to strengthen digital resilience, the attractiveness of Wallonia, and its European influence.
IDELUX Développement will play a crucial operational role in this project. A Strategic Committee, chaired by Minister Pierre-Yves Jeholet, will define the priorities of the Wallonia Cyber Valley and mobilize key public and institutional stakeholders. IDELUX's involvement in the development of the Galaxia park entrusts it with the operational management and animation of this center of excellence.
The call is open to companies, researchers, public actors, trainers, and experts: their commitment will be essential to make Galaxia an essential reference in cybersecurity. The objective is to make cybersecurity a true strength for Wallonia.
