Nicolas Baise, current Chief Operations Officer at Bnode, has been appointed CEO of the Bpost business unit, effective January 1, 2027.
Nicolas Baise, previously Chief Operations Officer and a member of Bnode's Executive Committee, will lead the Bpost business unit as CEO starting January 1, 2027. Bnode (formerly bpostgroup) is an international logistics group comprising three business units: Bpost, Paxon, and Landmark Global, with Bpost being the most visible operation.
In his new role, Nicolas Baise will focus on continuing the execution of the BU's operational and commercial priorities, as well as implementing the transformation agenda. Until the end of the year, he will remain fully committed to ensuring the success of the year-end period within his current operational responsibilities.
He succeeds Chris Peeters, who has held the interim position since May 2025 alongside his role as Group CEO. This appointment highlights Bnode's ongoing commitment to addressing Bpost's challenges while strengthening the focus on the Group's transformation.
“
"I would like to congratulate Nicolas Baise on his appointment as CEO Bpost. Nicolas has played a key role in the transformation and operational performance of the Bpost BU in recent years. His experience, deep understanding of the business, and strong execution skills make him the ideal person to lead the Bpost BU in the future."
Concurrently, Christel Dendas (Chief Commercial Officer and member of Bnode's Executive Committee) and Frank Croket (Chief Digital Officer and member of Bnode's Executive Committee) have agreed to end their collaboration with Bnode. To further simplify the operational model and enhance execution focus, the Group will integrate commercial leadership more closely within its business units. This evolution will bring decision-making closer to customers and operational reality. Frank Croket will remain with the company during a transition period to ensure a smooth handover.
“
"I would also like to thank Frank and Christel for their commitment to the company and wish them every success in their future endeavors."
The company's strategic priorities remain unchanged. Preparations for the peak season are well underway, and the management and organizational structures are in place to support the next phase of implementation.
