Born from the ambition to design and manufacture electronic microsystems from start to finish, Taipro Engineering has evolved from a small team focused on small-batch production to a company capable of large-scale custom manufacturing. This massive investment in its production facilities marked a decisive turning point.
Thanks to its expertise exported worldwide, the company now produces nearly 40,000 units per year, exporting almost all of its creations internationally. Its recognized skills in innovative pressure sensors and participation in several European research projects have enhanced its global visibility and reach.
Between 2013 and 2020, Taipro invested 1.5 million euros to transition from development-focused operations to large-scale custom production. This growth was supported by several regional initiatives, including investment aid from the SPW Économie (covering approximately 18% of equipment costs), a subordinated loan of 100,000 euros via Novallia, and innovation subsidies from the SPW Recherche.
“"It is clear that Wallonia's investment aid, among other factors, was necessary. It allowed us to consolidate our research and development activities."
The Business Discovery Day will offer a chance to discover this Walloon SME that has successfully transformed its technological expertise into an industrial success recognized far beyond its borders.
